The stock symbol is unchanged. Pulse changed its name because it is now focused on buying, marketing and licensing two- and three-dimensional seismic data to companies in the western Canadian energy sector. To this end, Pulse sold its Terrapoint airborne digital-mapping business for $6.5 million in May 2008. Pulse Seismic is still a buy for aggressive investors. YAMANA GOLD $10.37 (Toronto symbol YRI; SI Rating: Speculative) (416-815-0220; www.yamana.com; Shares outstanding: 732.9 million; Market cap: $7.6 billion) has agreed to sell its San Andres mine in Honduras, as well as the Sao Francisco and Sao Vicente mines in Brazil, to Aura Minerals (symbol ORA on Toronto) for $240 million (all amounts except share price in U.S. dollars).
