H&R ups its high yield

H&R REIT $21.81 (Toronto symbol HR.UN; Units outstanding: 283.9 million; Market cap: $6.2 billion; TSINetwork Rating: Extra Risk; Dividend yield: 6.3%; www.hr-reit.com) owns or has a stake in 515 office buildings, industrial properties and shopping malls across Canada and the U.S. In all, these holdings include 46.6 million square feet of leasable space. With the December 2016 payment, H&R REIT raised its monthly distribution by 2.2%. The units now yield 6.3%. Meantime, the trust’s revenue rose slightly for the three months ended September 30, 2016, to $297.3 million from $297.1 million a year earlier. Cash flow per unit was unchanged at $0.45.
