Investors now receive $0.205 a share, up 2.5% from $0.20. The annual rate of $0.82 yields a strong 3.4%. To add value for investors, in February 2019, Finning paid $241 million for 4Refuel. That firm operates a fleet of 200 tanker trucks providing onsite re-fuelling to 3,400 companies in the construction, transportation, oil and gas, and power generation industries. About half of 4Refuel’s clients are in Western Canada. Growth by acquisition can add risk, but the smaller size and profitability of 4Refuel helps offset that danger.
