The company completed two big transactions in the 2017 third quarter. The first was the takeover of Trilogy Energy, a Stock Pickers Digest recommendation. The second was the purchase of Apache Canada for $486.9 million. Production for the 2017 fourth quarter averaged 95,412 barrels a day. That reflects the first full quarter of output from both Trilogy and Apache. Cash flow was $0.82 a share. Paramount’s long-term debt is just 31.9% of its market cap.
