Sasol connects with IoT

It also produces chemicals, and oil and gas. Sasol continues to streamline its operations to improve efficiency. That has helped push the shares to a three-year high. For example, the company’s Secunda Synfuels Operations—a division of Sasol South Africa—will now use a Honeywell Connected Plant service to monitor the operating reliability of its refineries. Connected through the Internet of Things (IoT), those plants will stream data to a central system that monitors performance and provides early detection of problems.
