TORSTAR CORP. $0.38 (www.torstar.com) remains a hold, but only for highly aggressive investors. The COVID-19 outbreak has forced many businesses to temporarily shut down. As a result, they are cutting spending on advertising. That will further depress revenues at media companies like Torstar. However, Ottawa has designated media outlets as essential businesses during the crisis, and may offer more financial relief to the industry. PRECISION DRILLING CORP. $0.48 (www.precisiondrilling.com) is now a sell. The company provides contract drilling services to land-based oil and gas producers, mainly in North America. Sharply lower oil prices has prompted many producers to scale back their activities, which is why Precision’s shares are down 70% since the start of March. The company now plans to consolidate its outstanding shares; the final ratio will range from 1 new share for 5 old shares, to 1 for 40. That would let Precision avoid being delisted from the New York Stock Exchange, where it trades under the PDS symbol. BLACKBERRY LTD. $5.17 (www.blackberry.com) is still a hold. The company…
