However, even though its two new products have strong potential, Amazon must continue to deal with intense competition in the e-book market from big rivals like Apple, Barnes & Noble and Google. As well, the Apple iPad is now the dominant tablet, and significant new competitors, including Google and Microsoft, have entered this market.
