Software shift cuts NCR’s risk

NCR recently paid $184 million for JetPay Corp. (Nasdaq symbol JTPY). Based in Pennsylvania, that firm helps businesses and government agencies process financial transactions, including credit card payments and employee payroll deposits. JetPay should add $65 million to NCR’s annual revenue of $6.5 billion. The company plans more acquisitions in 2019, which adds risk.
