ACI WORLDWIDE, $26.38, is a buy. The firm (Nasdaq symbol ACIW; TSINetwork Rating: Extra Risk) (Shares o/s: 114.0 million; Market cap: $3.0 billion; No divds.) is a leading software provider for processing transactions by credit cards, debit cards, ATMs, point-of-sale terminals and interbank systems. Its products also work to cut fraud. In the quarter ended September 30, 2022, ACI’s overall revenue fell 3.3%, to $306.6 million from $316.9 million a year earlier. Revenue fell with the sale of its One Equity Partners business for $100 million. As well, the high U.S. dollar hurt the contribution of its foreign operations. Without those factors, revenue rose 1%.
