INTEL CORP., $50.62, Nasdaq symbol INTC, remains a buy. The company is the world’s leading maker of computer chips: its products power 90% of all personal computers and more than 80% of all datacentres. Starting with the March 2021 payment, Intel raised your quarterly dividend by 5.3%. Investors now receive $0.3475 a share instead of $0.33. The new annual rate of $1.39 yields 2.7%. Intel now plans to sell shares in its Israel-based Mobileye subsidiary to the public in 2022. It specializes in computer systems and chips for self-driving cars. Intel originally paid $15.3 billion for Mobileye in 2017, and the initial public offering could value that business at $50 billion. The company will continue to hold a majority stake in the business. Investor interest in Mobileye should be strong, as the demand for its products is growing fast—its revenue will probably jump 40% in 2021.
