IncrediMail, $7.25, symbol MAIL on Nasdaq (Shares outstanding: 9.7 million; Market cap: $70.4 million; www.incredimail.com), is an Israel-based company that makes computer-desktop software that users can download in 10 different languages. The company’s main product, IncrediMail, lets users customize emails and perform Internet searches. Other products include HiYo, for sending graphics through instant-messaging software, and PhotoJoy, for creating desktop wallpaper and screensavers. IncrediMail offers its products for free. The company makes most of its revenue from Internet searches. When users download the IncrediMail software, it installs a search bar on their web browser. Search engines (mainly Google) pay IncrediMail $0.02 for every search users conduct using this search bar. IncrediMail users conduct 110 million searches a month. That amounts to monthly revenue of about $2.2 million. Search revenue from Google accounts for about 65% of IncrediMail’s overall revenue.
