LEEP Inc., $0.02, symbol LPPI on the Nasdaq bulletin board (Shares outstanding: 174.6 million; Market cap: $3.5 million), sells its patented LeepCore structural building material. LEEP believes that buildings made with LeepCor are stronger, lighter, cheaper and more environmentally friendly than buildings made of wood, concrete and steel. It also believes that buildings using LeepCor can be built more quickly than those using traditional materials. The company operates a 33,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in eastern Pennsylvania. LEEP recently announced that it had received a $6-million order from a Germany-based company to make and deliver up to 150 mail-screening modular units over the next four years. These units would house workers who screen mail and packages for anthrax, explosives and other hazardous materials and devices. The company is late in filing its U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) documents, so little current financial information is available on LEEP Inc.
