A: Crescita Therapeutics, $0.96, symbol CTX on Toronto (Shares outstanding: 21.0 million; Market cap: $20.1 million; www.crescitatherapeutics.com), is a dermatology company with manufacturing capabilities, a portfolio of non-prescription skincare products for the treatment and care of skin conditions and diseases, and prescription drug products for the treatment of pain. Crescita specializes in drug delivery platforms that facilitate the active absorption of drugs into or through the skin. Nuvo Pharmaceuticals (symbol NRI on Toronto) spun off the company to its shareholders in March 2016. Supported by a sales force covering all of Canada, and focused on a business-to-business marketing approach, Crescita sells its non-prescription products primarily through spas, medispas and medical clinics.
