The company is focused on copper production from its MCSA Mining Complex in Bahia State, Brazil. Specifically, Ero Copper holds 99.6% of Brazilian copper mining company MCSA, which owns 100% of the MCSA Mining Complex. The complex taps the Pilar and Vermelhos underground copper deposits. MSCA also owns the Boa Esperança development project, located in Pará, Brazil. A recently updated feasibility study for a planned mine at the site increases the expected mine life to 12 years from nine. It also doubles the forecast copper production. Ero Copper aims to complete a mine and begin production in 2024. The company also owns 97.6% of the NX gold mine, an operating gold and silver mine located in Mato Grosso, Brazil.
