The company has now officially launched its loyalty program across the U.S. That’s after it successfully tested the program in three markets: Phoenix, Kansas City, and Columbus, Ohio. For every $1 that customers spend in the restaurant, online, or through Chipotle’s app, they earn 10 points. A free entree requires 1,250 points (or $125 in spending), but the company plans to introduce ways, like extra-points days, to speed up the accumulation of points. Apart from attracting and retaining customers, the new loyalty program will let Chipotle contact customers more often with personalized marketing.
