ALPHABET INC. is your #1 Aggressive buy for 2021. The company (Nasdaq symbols GOOG $2,285.88 [class C: non-voting] and GOOGL $2,270.67 [class A: one vote per share]) is the parent of Google, the world’s leading Internet search engine. In addition to search, Google also offers a variety of other services. They include Android (operating system for mobile devices), Chrome (operating system for desktops), Google Cloud, Google Maps, Google Play, Hardware (including Nest), Search, and YouTube. Advertising supplies about 80% of Alphabet’s total revenue. The company’s “Other Bets” division consist of several unrelated businesses that are still in the early stages of their development. They include Waymo (self-driving cars) and Calico (medical research and drug development). The stock gained 6% this week after the U.S. Supreme Court supported Alphabet in its dispute with Oracle Corp. (New York symbol ORCL).
