In December 2021, IAC acquired Meredith Holdings Corp., which publishes several popular magazines, including People, Better Homes & Gardens, Food & Wine, Allrecipes, Southern Living, InStyle and Real Simple. It paid $2.7 billion for this business. Thanks to that purchase, IAC’s revenue in the quarter jumped 64.3%, to $1.36 billion from $829.5 million a year earlier.
