Its main banners are KFC (fried chicken), Pizza Hut and Taco Bell (Mexican food). The company announced a new deal this week that will see 1,300 new Pizza Hut stores open over the next 10 years in Spain, Portugal, Latin America (excluding Brazil), the Caribbean and Switzerland. Right now, there are a total of 17,000 Pizza Hut outlets in over 100 countries. Spain’s Telepizza Group will build and operate those new outlets under a master franchise agreement. It will also convert some of its existing restaurants to the Pizza Hut brand.
