IGM FINANCIAL INC. $46 is a buy. The mutual fund provider (Toronto symbol IGM; Conservative-Growth Payer Portfolio, Finance sector; Shares outstanding: 239.2 million; Market cap: $11.0 billion; Dividend yield: 4.9%; Dividend Sustainability Rating: Above Average; www.igmfinancial.com) last raised its quarterly dividend by 4.7% with the January 2015 payment. Investors receive $0.5625 per share for an annual rate of $2.25. That makes for a high 4.9% yield. The company is also the largest investor in robo-advisor Wealthsimple. That firm now has 1.23 million clients and $15.3 billion in assets under administration. IGM’s 23% stake in Wealthsimple is now worth $1.15 billion. The company also owns 13.9% of China Asset Management Co., Ltd. (China AMC), one of that country’s largest mutual fund sellers.
