The Successful Investor Inc and Successful Investor Wealth Management Inc. Anti-Spam Statement

Overview

Canada’s anti-spam legislation (CASL) was created in 2014 to protect consumers and businesses from the misuse of digital technology, including spam and other electronic threats.

Spam is defined by the Government of Canada as unsolicited email, though it can also include unsolicited text messages and software. CASL focuses on commercial electronic messages, which are those that encourage participation in a commercial activity whether or not there is an expectation of profit.

The Successful Investor Inc. is committed to adhering to CASL to ensuring our customers and clients can feel secure in knowing we value our relationship and only communicate with you when it’s allowed and preferred

Under CASL there are 2 kinds of consent you give us to contact you:

  • Implied Consent – occurs when you become a client of Successful Investor Wealth Management Inc or reach out to us with questions about our Wealth Management service.

These consents allow us to contact you up to a certain period of time. For the publishing arm of our business we go further. We remove any email names of readers from our free email list who’ve not read or clicked on any email we’ve sent over the last 180 days.

Our Email Structure

Every commercial email we send has the following elements as required by CASL:
