LIQUIDATION WORLD $4.47 (Toronto symbol LQW; SI Rating: Speculative) (1-877- 728-3289;; Shares outstanding: 8.2 million; Market cap: $36.9 million) reports revenues in the three months ended July 1, 2007 were $46.5 million, down 5.6% from a record $49.2 million a year earlier. The company hasn’t reported its earnings yet. However, it buys most of its products in the United States, so the high Canadian dollar will cut the cost of those goods. During the quarter the company opened new stores in Mississauga and Belleville, Ontario. It now expects to end 2007 with approximately 119, stores instead of 125 as previously forecast.
