Hi Pat. A friend of mine told me he had received very good recommendations on a communications company called The Bark Group. What is your opinion? Thank you in advance.

The Bark Group, $0.21, symbol BKPG on the U.S. over-the-counter market (Shares outstanding: 351.2 million; Market cap: $73.8 million), is a U.S. company that produces advertising and marketing campaigns for U.S. and European businesses. In the nine months ended September 30, 2009, the company’s revenue fell 60.3%, to $2.8 million from $7.2 million a year earlier. The Bark Group lost $2 million or $0.01 a share in the latest nine months, compared to a loss of $2.4 million or $0.01 a share. The company now says it wants to raise capital so it can follow a more aggressive growth strategy. It hopes to open 12 new offices in the U.S. and Europe by 2012. At this point in its development, the Bark Group has negligible investment appeal. The shares have fallen from a high of $0.74 in January, but still are extremely expensive in relation to current revenues, and the company continues to lose money. We don’t recommend the Bark Group. …
