With the June 2017 payment, the company increased its quarterly dividend by 4.8%, to $0.2725 a share from $0.26. The new annual rate of $1.09 yields 3.1%. Intel recently agreed to acquire Mobileye N.V. (New York symbol MBLY) for $15.3 billion. It should complete the purchase by the end of 2017. Based in Israel, Mobileye specializes in computer systems and chips for self-driving cars. Over 25 automakers currently use, or have agreed to use, its technology. Intel expects global demand for vehicle systems and data services could rise to $70 billion by 2030. Intel is a buy.
