That’s a 16.1% rise from 3.1 million a year earlier. In the three months ended April 1, 2017, the company’s revenue rose 7.2%, to $329.1 million from $306.9 million, a year earlier. Weight Watchers earned $10.7 million, or $0.16 a share in the latest quarter. That’s a big improvement over the $10.8 million, or $0.17 a share, it lost a year earlier. The company now expects to earn between $1.40 and $1.50 a share in 2017. The shares trade at 16.2 times the mid-point of that estimate. Weight Watchers is a buy for aggressive investors.
