Its brands include Schick, Edge, Hawaiian Tropic and Wet Ones. Energizer Holdings Inc. (New York symbol ENR) spun off the company in July 2015. In Edgewell’s fiscal 2018 third quarter, ended June 30, 2018, sales fell 2.7%, to $620.6 million from $637.5 million a year earlier. That’s mainly because the company sold its Playtex glove business in October 2017 for $19.0 million. That revenue loss offset contributions from Edgewell’s March 2018 acquisition of Jack Black LLC. It paid $90.2 million for that maker of men’s luxury skincare products. Excluding unusual items, earnings fell 22.8%, to $49.2 million from $63.7 million.
