The transaction also gives Sun Life rights to acquire additional equity later. Dialogue provides virtual access to medical care in Canada as well as connecting users to health-care professionals worldwide. The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered a sharp increase in usage of its virtual care services. The deal comes after Sun Life rolled out access in April 2020 to Lumino Health Virtual Care. That platform, powered by Dialogue, lets users connect with medical professionals digitally.
