ADF Group Inc., $1.80, symbol DRX on Toronto, (Shares outstanding: 18.4 million; Market cap: $33.2 million; www.adfgroup.com), makes and installs steel beams for large construction projects, such as office towers, industrial buildings and airport terminals. The company’s main plant is in Terrebonne, Quebec. It also has a sales office in Florida. In the three months ended October 31, 2010, ADF’s revenue fell 13.2%, to $13.7 million from $15.8 million a year earlier. The slow U.S. economic recovery continues to delay new construction projects. As well, the company gets 85% of its revenue from the U.S., and the higher Canadian dollar hurt the value of its U.S. contracts. Earnings fell 54.4%, to $630,000 from $1.4 million a year earlier. Earnings per share fell 50.0%, to $0.02 from $0.04, on fewer shares outstanding. Cash flow was $0.07 a share in the latest quarter.
