On January 23, 2023, Xylem announced that it would acquire Evoqua (symbol AQUA on New York) for $7.5 billion. Evoqua is a North American leader in water treatment. The firm is an expert in the remediation of contaminants such as Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAs). Xylem’s revenue rose 0.8%, from $5.21 billion in 2018 to $5.25 billion in 2019.
