Angle Energy, $8.06, symbol NGL on Toronto (Shares outstanding: 69.0 million; Market cap: $556.3 million; www.angleenergy.com), develops, produces and explores for natural gas and natural-gas liquids in Alberta. Natural-gas liquids are extracted with natural gas. They include propane, butane, pentane, hexane and heptane. Angle sells these to customers that include petrochemical companies and refiners. Natural-gas liquids account for around 36% of Angle’s output, and help lower the company’s reliance on pure natural gas. In the three months ended September 30, 2010, Angle’s production rose 32.7%, to 10,021 barrels of oil equivalent per day (this measurement includes natural gas) from 7,552 barrels a year earlier. The company’s cash flow per share rose 10.5%, to $0.21 from $0.19 a year earlier, mainly because of the increased production and higher natural-gas prices. Angle’s realized natural-gas price rose 26.6%, to $4.09 per thousand cubic feet from $3.23. Natural-gas liquids prices rose 27%, to $41.16 a barrel from $32.42.
