Exclusive partnerships extend its reach into the U.S. The company’s trucking fleet is the largest in Canada, with 6,630 trucks and 12,040 trailers. Montreal-based TransForce was an income trust from September 2002 to May 2008. The company has four main divisions: 1) Truckload shipping, which accounts for 33% of TransForce’s revenue, involves transporting a single customer’s goods on each truck. 2) Less Than Truckload shipping (29% of revenue) combines freight from multiple customers onto a single truck. 3) Specialized Services (23% of revenue) operates warehousing and logistical services that help businesses manage their inventory flows. 4) Package and Courier (15% of revenue) provides business-to-business parcel-delivery services under the Canpar and ICS Courier banners.
