Dear Inner Circle member, When you try to figure out the various trends and developments that can have an impact on your investments, resist the urge to focus on any single issue or area. Instead, try to see how it all fits together. The important issues and factors always include positives and negatives. Few if any will turn out as bad as your worst fears, nor live up to your best hopes. So it pays to develop a sense of balance and coherence in your outlook. For instance, you need to avoid dwelling on what you see as the failings of the party in power. In the U.S., anti-Trump feeling runs high among half the voters. However, the stock market began rising soon after Trump’s victory in the U.S. Presidential election nearly a year ago. That rise continues.
