Jeff Walker’s freelance writing career stretches back more than two decades. In 1989, he debunked two ultra-gloomy “wave theory” forecasts for the stock market: one from the Kondratieff theorists, in Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities magazine, and one from Elliott Wave guru Bob Prechter, in Gann & Elliott Wave magazine.
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Jeff worked with Pat McKeough on two MPL Communications Inc. publications: The Personal Wealth Reporter and The Investment Reporter.
Jeff has also written for the Financial Times of Canada, Metropolitan Toronto Business Journal, Canadian Money Saver, Humanist in Canada and Free Inquiry. Other publications he has contributed to include The Globe & Mail, Skeptical Inquirer, Liberty, Books in Canada, Frank, NeWest, Health Watch and both the Ontario and British Columbia Skeptic newsletters.
Jeff wrote two shows about Ayn Rand for CBC’s Ideas, and these led to his 1999 book, The Ayn Rand Cult. Jeff is also a long-time Beatles fan. That led him to write his second book, Let’s Put the Beatles Back Together Again 1970-2010, which was published in 2010. Jeff has been contributing to TSI Network since January 2011.
