The company charges its customers an annual membership fee to shop at its locations. It currently has 773 outlets: 536 in the U.S., 100 in Canada, 39 in Mexico, 28 in the U.K., 26 in Japan, 16 in South Korea, 13 in Taiwan, 11 in Australia, two in Spain, one each in Iceland and France. It also sells products online in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Mexico, South Korea and Taiwan. Since 2014, Costco has opened 110 new stores and the company’s revenue has steadily increased, from $112.6 billion in 2014 to $141.6 billion in 2018.
